When I was a kid, my dad came home from work and told my little sister and me he had a surprise for us. He brought over his large black lunchbox (so immediately I thought he brought us Twinkies. Yes, Twinkies.) and when he opened it, two curious, eager kittens blinked out at us. It was the most adorable thing ever. They weren’t even wearing sweaters.
